“Jesus” Loves Grammar Nazis.

You get an “E” for “effort.” Jesus does save.

However, putting it in quotation marks like that is confusing. Imagine the strange looks you would get if you told someone that Jesus saves while making quotes in the air with your fingers. As the link below points out, they might respond by saying, “‘Jesus’ saves…if that’s his real name…” or, “You said Jesus saves but I know you meant someone else. Wink, wink…”

See, punctuation matters. It’s the difference between telling people about Jesus and telling people about “Jesus.”
